1. Begin with the end in mind. Determine the goal. Then plan.
2. Accept responsibility for your own learning. Value and take pride in your learning. Be an active participant.
3. View problems as challenges. Is this a crisis or a chance to learn?
4. Have confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner. The words you use to describe yourself become reality.
5. Create your own learning toolbox. Books, technology, classes, mentors, friends, webpages.
6. Use technology to your advantage. It is a tool to make life easier.
7. Teach/mentor others. The best way to learn is to teach someone else. It is a good way to give back to the community.

The easiest habit for me will be the first one - making a goal. I seem to think of all kinds of goals.
The hardest Lifelong Learning habit for me to adhere to will be making a toolbox of books, technology, classes, mentors, etc. Especially organizing the tools, keeping them available and handy will be challenging.
